In Magic, Goblins are often considered the Multiverse's comic relief race. No doubt, Goblins are often seen blowing themselves up, blowing other Goblins up, being blown up by other Goblins, or failing to blow themselves or other Goblins up due to some other thing blowing up in their place, even intentionally on rare occasions.
But honestly, that's a very narrow and derogative vision of the Goblin race. Goblins also have very good and unique qualities that are not often demonstrated

Like I've mentioned on previous circumstances, I'm really liking the new turn Magic has made regarding underused creature types. In other words, creature types that haven't been seen in years are seeing the light of day again! Of course, it's still impossible to make an Octopus tribal deck, for example, but it's a step in the right direction and Wizards deserves a commendation for that.
But exactly how much is still left for such creature types to have the least bit of sporting chance
