Deck Definition Primer: Draco Explosion

Draco Mini-Primer

Draco explosion is a fast, fun combo deck. It works by stacking a Draco on top of the library, then Erratic Explosioning for 16 damage. Burn acts as a finisher. The deck also packs counters and card drawing to protect and search for the combo. The usual deck is U/R, with some versions splashing black (via polluted deltas) for Vampiric Tutor, removal such as Smother, and Duress and company. I will focus on the main build.
The Draco Explosion deck originated at PT Houston just after the Extended Rotation. Jinpei Hassaku piloted the deck to a top 32 finish. Now for the decklist:

Draco

Land (22)
2x Faerie Conclave
7x Island
2x Lonely Sandbar
5x Mountain
2x Polluted Delta
4x Shivan Reef

Creatures (3)
3x Draco

Spells (35)
4x Accumulated Knowledge
4x Brainstorm
4x Counterspell
3x Volcanic Hammer
3x Erratic Explosion
3x Fire/Ice
3x Mana Leak
3x Scroll Rack
3x Force Spike
2x Intuition
2x Earthquake
1x Spy Network

Card Choices

Islands and Mountains - Duh
Faerie Conclaves - Faerie conclaves deal the final points of damage once the deck has comboed.
Shivan Reefs - Duh
Lonely Sandbar - Uncounterable card drawing - this lets you draw an extra card once you have stacked your deck with either Brainstorm or Scroll Rack.
Polluted Delta - Deck thinning, it also shuffles bad cards away after Scroll Rack or Brainstorm.

Draco - Duh

Accumulated Knowledge - Searches for the combo. It also comboes with Intuition.
Brainstorm - This helps draw and stacks your deck. Many games will be won the turn after you cast it.
Spy Network - The fifth Brainstorm. This is a controversial slot. Spy Network does not draw any cards, but you get to rearrange the top 4 cards of your library instead of 3.
Scroll Rack - Rearranges your library and sets up the combo. I might cut 1 because it isn't good to draw multiples.
Intuition - Combos with Accumulated knowledge, also finds you a finisher (if you need one).

Counterspell - The name says it all.
Mana Leak - Another counter that is easier on the mana base.
Force Spike - A great turn 1 play, it slows down your opponent so you can go off and win.

Volcanic Hammer - Volcanic Hammer is a good finisher as well as a decent removal spell.
Erratic Explosion - Duh
Fire/Ice - Card Advantage and another finisher.
Earthquake - the only mass removal in the deck, Earthquake is also a finisher.
