Once upon a time, there was a contest. It was a big contest. It was a glorious contest. And that contest brought forth a lot of people; and a lot of excitement.

After that, another of its kind came along, and it too brought in the people.

Then after that... well, another tried to arise, but then went away and was never heard from again.

What is to be done about it? If you fall out of the saddle, the only thing you can do is get back up and ride again!

This is MDV Idol!!!

We are gearing up for another run with the biggest contest in MDV history: MDV Idol. As in the past, the contest will have a theme that is designed to challenge your card designing skills.

Yet there is a considerable difference this time. Want to know what that change will be? I can't tell you just yet, as it is still a mystery even to me.

The three guys in the back have not told anyone yet, but they say it will blow your flipping mind when you hear about it! How can you find out more? Stick around and watch this very spot for more updates on the contest and how you can become the next MDV Idol!

Not familiar with MDV Idol?

MDV Idol is a Magicdeckvortex.com staple contest which runs along the lines of the popular show American Idol. Contestants will compete in a star-studded contest, designed by the judging panel, where they will submit an entry during the registration period. Once the registration period ends, the submissions will be divided into groups, where readers will have one week to vote for one card in each group. At the end of the voting period, the winners of each group will be judged by the judging panel in an informal and most likely humorous article. Then the fun begins as the winners will go head to head in another week of reader voting. The submission receiving the most votes will win the contest and the creator of the entry will be the next MDV Idol.

Each Contest has been changed slightly to improve the quality and change the difficulty level of the contest. How will we do it this time around?
