The
Stone Rain Project. I was very excited to see this site come back
around after a two year hiatus. Prior to M10, The Stone Rain was
printed in every CORE set of Magic: the Gathering including several
first set of the block expansions. With that in mind, and all of
the different languages the game is printed in, collecting every Stone
Rain card available can be a daunting task. However, this guy is doing a
good job with help from around the world. Check it out! |
Magic
the Gathering Online Drafting. If you like drafting, this blog is
for you. This blog is by Bryan Dowse and includes sections for
Constructed, M2010 Draft and Shards Draft. Well written and well
presented. I suggest you check this out if you want a free
perspective on drafting and playing Magic. |
Eric's
List of Magic: the Gathering Variants. This site has been around
longer than MDV and was one of my inspirations for starting Magic Deck
Vortex. In fact, you will find a number of decks from Eric's Magic
Pages in the MDV Deck Database. This particular links points to
all of the play variants he has archived on his site. There are
variants sorted by category including solitare versions, two player
versions and large group versions. Check it out; there may be a
few variants you've never tried or heard of! |
The
Planeswalker's Matrix. Three quick phrases that sum up the
site: Cool name, lots of software links, basic layout. Despite
being very texty, this site is loaded to the brim with useful links and
information about Magic: the Gathering software, patches, and more.
Don't be fooled by it's angelfire root directory, it appears to be
pretty up to date as far as I can tell. |
Deathmarked.
This is a blog by Mark Ian Alooso, a webmaster working in Iloilo City,
Philippines. In his blog about his favorite card game/addiction,
he talks about decklists, tournament reports and anything related to the
card game. Recent posts include an updated Kithkin decklist, 5
Color Control and a link to the Deathmarked wallpaper art from M10.
Check it out! Support it! Have fun! |
