This is the OLD MDV Home Page!
5/25/10 - If you are reading this you are
visiting the old Magic Deck Vortex Home Page. In May
2010 the home page activities of MDV moved to a new home, found
here. (Powered by vBulletin Publishing Suite). I believe your overall experience will be better
with more up to date content and easier navigation. In
addition, there is no more annoying red background, easier access to
commenting on articles, blogging for everyone and a generally
cleaner look. Plus there are more bells and whistles for me as
a webmaster and owner of the site.
While the deck database, combo database and art
catacombs are yet to be fully migrated to the new version of MDV,
all of the old pages will always be held in tact through
this old portal. Bookmark this page if
you want to always have quick access to it. Otherwise, know the OLD
MDV site will be linked to on the new MDV.
Thanks for visiting Magic Deck Vortex! I
hope to always be bringing you casual players casually amazing
content, contests, decks, combos and more. In return, I hope you
each come back often, read and comment on new content, and support
MDV's advertisers. ~Streetz~ |
Rise of the Eldrazi Visual
Spoiler COMPLETED!
5/10/10 - As the titled suggests, all of the card
images have been posted. I apologize that it took so long to
post this new visual spoiler but I am in the middle of moving MDV to
the vBulletin Publishing Suite. While I work on that, enjoy
the new visual spoiler in all its Eldrazi glory!!! ~Streetz~ |
Magus of the Bazaar: On Deck Porting and Grixis Control
5/3/10 -
There are many approaches to deck building. It can start with an
idea, a card, an interaction between two cards, a theory-based
strategy, an exhaustive examination of a format’s card pool, or an
extensive analysis of the existing decks-to-beat in an established
format. All of these approaches, and many more besides, are valid.
Today I’d like to further consider the simple approach of converting
a successful tournament deck to the Merchant Magic format. ~Amadeus~
