Hi there folks! With recent vBulletin code updates, the calendar has become a highly viable and cool feature. I've taken it upon myself to try and fill it up with as much interesting and cool things as I can. It is automatically populated with your birthday, and already includes numerous Magic and MDV dates as well as cool holidays and events from around the world!

I'm what you call an ignorant American (although not quite as ignorant as some) and would love to geer this to our community, especially our European friends whom seem to get 30 more holiday days than us per year. So all I'm asking is that if you have an annual event or holiday you'd like added to this list by all means let me know.

These are all reoccurring holiday's. I would love to put more such as many of the Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Islamic, and Oriental holidays, but they follow calendars that make the reoccurrence very difficult. As such they have to be redone each and every year, although I plan on doing major ones.

So if there are any major or super annual events you'd like me to add let me know. Also, if you happen to have a date that's important to you let us know maybe we'll add it on there such as an upcoming wedding or your graduation so that your MDV community knows when to congratulate you. A private message or a simple reply in this thread are both suffice.

In Germany, North of France and Belgium (and maybe somewhere else), Sinterklaas (also called Sint-Nicolaas in Dutch and Saint Nicolas in French) is a traditional holiday figure in the Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles and Belgium, celebrated every year on December 6. It's some kind of small Christmas Redux for the children. We are so lucky there we have Christmas and Sinterklaas. You still have to go to work this day.

An actual holiday is Epiphany on Januar 6, which celebrate the coming of the three Biblical Magi (also known as Three King, or Three Wise Men) to give present to infant Jesus.

Think the Anglo-version is called Saint Nicholas's Day. Alot of the things from it are incorporated into our Christmas. I'll add it on there with Ephiphany as well. I have no idea how I forgot Cinco De Mayo, even though only Americans really celebrate it (any exuse to get people drunk on tequilla)
