I don't know where all of the XCB lovers went, but good job on this one, DBB. I enjoyed the read more than I enjoyed the laying it out. (All of those grids can be a headache for me).

Re: Going Blind: XCB Metagaming - A Prolonged Conclusion. by Death_By_Beebles

I haven't reread this article yet, but I remember that the series provided a methodical way of analyzing the metagame for XCB (3CB, in the particular example). I think the way the decks are broken down into archetypes (can't remember if it was in this article or the one before it, but all of them should be reposted) seems especially useful for people new to the game.

I think the thirteen sign-ups we have for the current round of XCB says that people are interested in it. While interest has historically come in waves, I think that with a proper set up (lots of special rounds, timely results) we could make it more consistent.

I also don't know if you'd like to try this again, but for a while we coordinated XCB with MTGS, so that players could submit decks on either site and results would be posted in both places.
