sacrificing sakura tribe elder lets me search my library for a basic land and put it in to play tapped.
only reaction is to prevent that thing from hitting me

by the way, tgp, once blockers are declared you can't boomerang in response. If blockers are declared the blocked creature deals no damage to the defending player unless it has trample. So even tho this game is pretty much over (unless you guys resume it) i think its just important to note that you have to boomerang BEFORE you give him a chance to declare blockers.

I might look it up in the comp rules later if you don't believe me...
