Night has befallen and my eternal slumber is all but near. Gazing upon the moon searching for that silvery light that will show me the way. Yet, all I can get are memories of a different past. A past full of light and cheerful companionship. The past I killed with my bare hands and hurt that precious companion. Who was my companion? Beautiful as she was, it wasn't solitude, it wasn't regret, no, it was love. Love that I could look at and feel. Stare into her eyes and see a future.

Ah, no, now she lies wounded on the soon to be deathbed of my sins. Feeling the cold, steel end of my blade.

Drowsyness comes over me, my heart dripping with irony. I get to my deathbed and see my wounded love, serene and beautiful. Lying beside her an incredible ease strikes my soul and my mind drifts into a long remembrance. All that is left for me are memories of a different past, sheets covered in irony, and the hopes of this deathbed becoming a bed of roses.

Child... don't worry. For I shall not leave you. I will always be there, in your memories and in your heart. I love you, and I do not wish to leave you like this. Forgive me. And may the gods shower you with their blessing, whilst I forsake reality and indulge myself into an eternal dream of a different past.
