So, I'm debating getting back into green for my FFA games, and I want tanks. No, scratch that, I want the sickest multiple opponent creatures ever produced. If you have non-green ones, start a separate thread by color, since I probably will be moving to other ones after getting all excited over Green stuff.
Right now I have:
Dirtcowl Wurm
Stag Beetle
Copperhoof Vorrac
and am sort of running out of ideas. Those ones are hella sick, though...Dirtcowl Wurm vs. Russ' genius Snake deck that plays out all his lands first...oh yes.

Seedborn Muse...Beast of Burden (not technically green, but o well)

Oh yeah, I would say Forgotten Ancient, but he's banned for our group. Funny how banned stuff (Arcbound Ravager, etc) from our group starts to fade out of my "useful card memory" after a while.

Forgotten Ancient banned?! You guys need higher standards! Why is it banned?

In a game of at least two people, this thing can be very annoying. Imagine 3+ people playing. You could expect either massive amounts of counters or people holding back cards in order to minimize the things size.

Six person FFA with concepts like Lightning Greaves floating around. The other Alex in the group is actually to blame, he made a deck with may untargetable-giving effects and stuck them on the Ancient, then proceeded to apply a ton of other stuff and make us mad.

If you know alot of people are playing green, traproot kami could help. Ehm, Iwamori :P, ok not really. Lifegift is pretty annoying too. Verdant Force is pretty nice too. Dosan can be pretty nasty too. Offcourse the ancient, that's obvious.

The most expensive fatty on eBay at the moment. Right up there with Kokusho and Akroma.

Verdant Force (by far)
but Multani is more practicle to hardcast...
Lately I found playing with Verdant Force & Co to much of a risk,
because everybody else had answers like Control Magic and Bribery. doh!

Kodama of the North Tree. He's a huge untargetable beatstick for a reasonable cost.
Plated Slagwurm is also an untouchable massive tank.
And you could always get some Natural Orders to bring these fatties to the table quickly.

I'd agree with Dosan... He radically alters the progression of the game, which can really help you with the politics of the table (especially if one person has a real love of playing instants on other people's turns.)
