ex. apprentice, patient apprentice, etc.
and how do you go up in ranks.

anyware long these lines, if you write for MDV after three articles you achieve the rank of MDV Writer, which you have to upkeep by being active in the Writer's Guild. I might be off, Saito Hijme would know a bit better than I.
