What are your favorite Ravnica commons?

Yeah, I'm a cheapass mage. Except for timeless staples or fundamental stuff like painlands, I don´t spend much money on cards, so I always look for strong commons.

My choices for Ravnica are:

- Shambling Shell.
- Lurking Informant
- Faith's Fetters
- Farseek
- Dimir Infiltrator.

I love the Thundersong. My opponent landed a Giant Wurm (my nickname for the Auto...Wurm, just because I don't like saying his name :?), and I just shut it down with Thundersong. all that mana and tapping for nothing :evil:

Faith's Fetters is awesome.

I also like Golgari Rotwurm. Good stats on a thing that throws your creatures at opponents? It's almost a Cabal Archon, and REALLY damaging if you've got Savra/Golgari Germination.

And the winner, aka personal favorite common on that list of goodies is.....

Torpid Moloch.
What? A red defender? That sac'ing three lands lets you attack with? Sucks.
Red lacks early game stopping power, aka first turn. Mogg Sentry is decent but unreliable, and Wall of Razors is 1 toughness. But this Moloch character can munch Isamaru or Watchwolf, and saves you a Lightning Helix for something more important. Totally worth it. And if you have a Terravore or something around, all the better.

I forgot about Gaze of the Gorgon.

Ask Aether Reaper how much he hates me dropping that on a Taunting Elf.

The worst part about it is that it can be played as monogreen, and when you can play it as monogreen, it becomes a KILL SPELL. About as sick as Psionic Blast IMO, especially when you play it in a monogreen deck and can take down a Tog that's ramming the crap out of you with like a Basking Rootwalla dropped at instant speed.

Siege Wurm is easily my fav green common :). Green needs more 5/5 tramplers with no drawbacks like Giant Warthog and Moss Kami :P. I just like simple cards like that for some reason. Although Personally, I think that the rares are too good :(. Nobody likes Giant Warthog when there are Kavu titans out there >_<.
