I'm relatively new to these forums, and I was wondering why, when you go on some older threads, the posters have no avvy or signature, and their post count is n/a. Is this just a software or hosting change? At some point, it changes to normal, because it starts displaying the normal way.

As far as I know, those are threads that were moved from the old forums. The avvys, post counts, etc simply didn't get transferred.

Actually, it happened a little after that. The forums were up and running again, but then ASF updated it to vbforum and there went the neighborhood... :p

Yeah those mark the start of older threads, and what not....actually you can see the remains of Hiakashi...he was pretty funny. :paranoid: isn't that right ywn? Then he left...*sniff* ... :(

When upgrading to VB... the majority of the old posts lost all of their formatting which is why they are lacking the sig images and avvys. It was one of the things we had to deal with in exchange for a much better forum package. :D
