Problems saving Avatar

I can't upload a new avatar.

Gives me a "unable to upload avatar" message.

is the image I'm trying to display as an Avatar.

It's within the bounds of the specs required of it, and it's a .png file. I tried with a .jpg and a completely different .gif file, but those didn't work either.

I'm also having the same prob, but my avy is a movi. i was told to simply go about as though it were an image. Though this thread is about the avy, my banner has the same prob. It states "Could not save changes.". The dimensions are right, and the file size, i think it may be a broken image then. The thumbnail doesn't look like the actual image....

Actually, it works, but now it sizes down the recommend size by Streetz in the AV/Banner forum. now it's saying the standard is 600x100... can this be changed to in corperated the 500x150 and 600x125 banners as well, if not I'll adapt, but I won't like it.

Well having two different size limits won't work, I'm afraid. So Streetz, DBB, and myself will need to decide on just one.
