Shouldn't Ipsol the mad's blue ability read "Wisps cannot be the target of spells and abilities"?

My personal favorite is Chaos Wisp.

Well, but then it would have to be "targets," to agree with "Wisps," and I didn't like the sound of "cannot be the targets of spells or abilities." The "each" wording looks odd next to the other abilities, but it is not improper and maintains the more standard "cannot be the target of spells or abilities" wording.

My personal favorite is Chaos Wisp.

The red Wisps were the most fun to make :)

Cosmic Wisp is probably my favorite, but I think having it as 'Wisp cards in your hand gain cycling :2mana:' would be cooler (if it works) since it's functionally the same but is effected by Fluctuator and the like.

Another question about Ipsol the mad... his black ability currently reads ":b:: Regenerate all Wisps", should you really make this a targetable ability [based on the remider text of 9th edition Drudge Skeletons], or make it "All Wisps gain ":b:: Regenerate""

BTW I love the flavor of Ipsol's Weilding "Sdevoleb ym ,esira" or backwards "Arise, my beloveds"

I could make it that way. It would be less potent than it is now, though, and out of line with his other abilities, which each effect all Wisps.

Note that there's nothing wrong with an effect that regenerates more than one creature at a time. Some real cards that currently do this are Loxodon Hierarch and Wail of the Nim.

Hm; although looking at those cards it seems I should word the ability ":b:: Regenerate each Wisp." May as well change all the abilities to "each" wordings, then, for aesthetics. Thanks for drawing my attention to that :)

Now granted, as it is it combos well with regen-able sweepers like Nevinyrral's Disk and Pernicious Deed, but look at the deck that would be doing this: a 5-color deck full of 0/1 fliers whose abilities only occasionally synergize, and the combo would require a 5-color creature who would die in the process. So I don't think it's terribly unblanaced.

Thank you :)
