Well guys, I'm back and in the mood to create cards! There will be a IIWARnD article for Avatar week, but I want to create some random cards for fun. So here we go!

Lord Luther, King of All Vampire :4mana::b::b:
Legendary Creature - Vampire Lord
Flying
All vampires gain +1/+1.
:2mana::b:: Regenerate target Vampire.

Enchantment - Aura
Enchant Creature
Enchanted creature becomes black and gains the creature type 'Vampire'.
Whenever a creature that enchanted creature deals damage to goes into the graveyard from play, place a 2/1 Black Thrall token into play.

Stretching the Borders :2mana::g::g::g:
Instant
Search your library for two basic land cards and put them into play.

Border of Reality :3mana::u:
Creature - Wall
Defender
When ~ blocks a creature, that creature gains Phasing.

Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature is indestructable and gains defender.
At the end of each turn, unequip ~ or sacrifice the equipped creature.

each player reveals the top five cards of their library, then puts them back in any order.

The Drums of War

Creature - Dwarf Warrior
Whenever a land comes into play you may play :r::r:. If you do, ~ deals 2 damage to target creature or player.

Refresh: When ~ is put into a graveyard from play, put it on the bottom of your library instead.

Nice. THe Mithril, you can't unequip manually, there must be something forcing it. Is this implying you need to do so difficult stuff to get it off? In which case i'd just make it cost 0 and 4 to equip cause it's so...blanced.
The saintly spirit is broken no offense. Up it to at least five CMC (or all five is W) or give it a drawback. Plenty of decks don't win through attacking. THis card would be an instant game stoper in drafts. It's almost the same as dawn elemental, my friends hated that card.

In the end, really solid nice cards! You should play them up. (make the cards). If ya can't, i'd be happy to, but lately, my name writing has been off. I don't know why...

If it's not to much trouble, visit my custom cards? I made a whole bunch of new ones...going to waste....

@Ghurhgs: I have a huge list of mechanics I copied down before we changed forum, way back when we had the 'Blue' look (I miss that look...) but it doesn't say who created them.

Goblin Kid 0 (Goblin Kid is a red card)
T: Target creature can't attack, block or use any of it's abilities until end of turn.

If Goblin Kid is put in the graveyard from play, remove it from the game instead. At the end of turn, Goblin Kid come back to it's owner's hand.

People! A crime has recently been bought to my attention that I feel needs addressing. In a game such as Magic, with its heavy fantasy theme, how is it there are only 13 Swords, 1 Hammer and 2 Bows? Where is the bounty of equipments and relics that should be addorning our Magic collections! Well, I vow to solve this problem in this thread. Lets start with swords!

Shortsword :1mana:

Okay then, heres a good stab at weapons but will put more up as I think of them. Feel free to post your own attempts at weapons, spears would be interesting.

Because of the restriction, it could cost 4.

Might want to change it to combat damage for flavor reasons, and -X/-Y counters aren't used anymore because of memory issues.


Dual-Blade :4mana:

Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and may block an additional creature.

Flavorwise the card has errors since Darksteel should always be indestructable..my guess would be this:

This is weird. The first ability is like Evil Eye from Uborg[/quote] and that makes combat kinda boring since it can't be killed in combat and it gets rid of graveyard stuffs and you might want to change the second ability to "Whenever a creature is removed from the game by ~, put a shade counter on ~." instead so it would be more like [card]Void Maw

Overcosted. Sword of Light and Shadow costs 3 to play and two to equip to give the creature +2/+2 and the added abilities and protection. This just gives them pro black and untargetability. I would recommend it amping the creature up some.

True, but when you slack in fun, you don't get to have fun all the time (or some other good cool sounding quote here).

Also when you make cards for fun, it helps when you make cards for whatever else.

Personal - Unset - The Internet (Foamy appears in this!)
Personal - Conflict - Creature heavy set, 200 card aim
Joint Project - Heavens - Check out Female_Kaldra's post in this forum.

And a couple of others that have approached me through PM's so I won't post the idea here without prior consent from the members involved.

I would say on the Bows, the bigger the bow ( or any weapon for that matter) the more Damage. like on the LOngbow why only 1 damage and 1 to the player? Insted it should inflict 2 or points and not have the creature damaged untap for a turn, as well as the equipped critter, then I could see it hurting you for 1, but not really. JMO.

Miasma - 3BG or BBGG or 2BBB

Not sure if it would work better as Enchantment or Spell so here are 2 variations.

Enchantment version:

When creatures you opponent control attack Miasma deals 2 damage to each attacking creature and at end of turn put a -1/-1 counter on that creature. If a creature is killed this way, sacricie it and remove it from the game instead and any turn creature maybe killed it's controller and you each lose an amount of life equal to the number of -1/-1 counters on each creature killed this way.

Spell Version:

All attacking creatures take 2 damage and get a -1/-1 counter for each point of damage dealt to opponent.

I have been working on this spell for awhile, it has been bugging me. I though of making a greta Land Destruction spell or Land Enchant. So if ypu have nay ideas please reply.
Also I would love to help with some Fantasy magic Cards! I have great ideas and a few mechanics I have created.
I love the additional weapons idea, it has potential, but all these cards require so much work, we really need to figure out a few mechanics and go from there if we are to design a proper Fanatsy Set. JMO. Let me know I am serious.

Okay, I see your point with bows; was just going with the flow of the moment at the time.

Your miasa is an interesting card, but might I suggest:

Miasma :3mana::b::b::b: (No green effect here)
Enchantment
Whenever a creature attacks, ~ deals 2 damage to it. At the end of combat, place a -1/-1 counter on each creature that attacked.
If a creature with a -1/-1 counter would be put into the graveyard from play, remove it from the game instead.

This will work out much more balanced as it works on your creatures as well, meaning that you will benefit from black pump creatures in this battle!

As for working on a joint project, I would love to at some point but currently am a bit busy. I can however include you in projects I'm currently involved in; and if you are really into card design my I please suggest you check out my website (follow link in signature).

Right people, so many people have come to me asking if they can join in on the weapons project; The answer to ANYONE is yes, the more the merrier! In fact, if you are interested in joining this project, simply post your idea's here.

I'm thinking that we should set a target number; something around 150 different weapons. Of course a HUGE majority would be legendary but think of the effects we could make on weapons.......

Yeah, but it's legendary and :6mana: to drop so it's not going to see play till late, by which time your opponent will probably have several answers to it.
