3-Cards Blind Round#8

Wow, this is really getting somewhere... #8 already...

Ok, here are the rules:


(Interpolled)
3-Card Blind (3CB) is a very unique game. The rules are as follows
Your deck is composed of 3 cards, all of which start in your hand.
You have no library (technically, the library exists, but starts at 0 cards) and no sideboard (Wishes fetch nothing).
Random effects always go in your opponent's favour.
You can see your opponent's hand, so you can always make the best possible play.
You don't lose as a result of not being able to draw a card.
You will play each opponent twice, once going first, once going second.
For each win, you score 3.
For each draw, you score 1.
For each loss, you get nothing.
Other than the aforementioned, EVERYTHING IS HANDLED EXACTLY LIKE A REAL GAME OF MAGIC!

Remember, it is important for your deck to include a way to cast your cards! (Lands, artifact mana, pitch cards, etc.)

The "Vanishing" part is the twist. To start off with, only Unglued, Unhinged and Ante cards are banned. After each round, the 3 cards in the winning deck plus any cards in more than 1/3 of the decks played will be banned for all future rounds.[/b]

Hi again, all you 3CB-Lovers (and To-be Lovers! Come on, join here, you will get addicted, trust me!)

We are going into a new game of 3CB. Last time, we had two winners, and now, a new name is on the list of past winners: Hiakashi. Now, some might say that there IS no Hiakashi, but since that person is notoriously changin his names (Ninja, aka Jack Sparrow, formerly known as Hiakashi), I am just going to ignore that ;)

Again, it has been the time of the decks that win their first matches, but this time, we went closer. drawing a game might become more important, now. Plus, we now have a lack of white mana-sources, so only the white mox is giving you free white mana first turn. Oh, and the snow-covered Plains, of course, so no time to worry (yet).

Anyway, this time, I am going to wait for quite a while before I actually post the decks of the competetors, to gather more pit fighters. If you are feeling like it, definitly try it. (yeah, I am talking to YOU! ;) )

Generally speaking: As soon as your decklist is completed, you should be sending your decklist. You can always change the list, and as you all might have noticed, I usually need some time to post the decklists, since I am on vacation... Lazy me...

@Hia (aka CJS): What about a favor I have to return? I am not awfully into bald women with blue skin, you know... Plus, I am not desperate enough to have an imaginary girl... :paranoid:)

Sorry, I edited the links that where wrong. I mean, it's 7am right here, and I didn't get any sleep since last night, so basiucally, I am not going to sleep today, so yeah, you MIGHT say that I am a little bit tired ;)

Boi isn't going to win this, I fell for that once, too. I mean, he NEEDS to have a spell to target, right? so his opponent (yeah, even YOU ;) ) is not going to do him THAT favor, and all of boi's games end in a draw. Each and everyone.

And I hate to inform you taht you are not ging to win your first games. Only against D_B_B, since the darksteel reactor is not going to be in play fast enough. Problem is: all the other decks (save from boi, who will make that a draw) have creatures taht don't mind the little basking. He is only a feeble 1/1, while theirs are 2/2 or 3/3. And they will basically just race you. Even when you start, and it gets worse when THEY start...

First things first: I am veryveryveryveryveryveryveryveryveryveryveryveryve ry happy to greet two new pitfighters, Mal and Niv. Next round will be starting soon!

Next up, for the results: I also think its a tie. Between Mogg and P_P.

Aganst Zack, both Bayou-players will win with 6 points. If Zack goes first, he will be playing Tundra, hound, go. Then the answer will be Bayou, blackmail. If he counters it, then next turn, the 3/3 elephant will stomp the dog. If he doesn't counter it, then the blackmail will get rid of the daze, and next turn, the 3/3 elephant will be stomping the dog. Either way, he stands little chance.

The other decks will be mostly disrupted, so they lose their games against Daze and Blackmail. They cannot gather enough points, there.

So bannings go for Bayou, Blackmail and Rogue Elephant, if noone objects.

Next round will start later this day.

Eh, I'm not really 'new', per se, but oh well.

@P_P: 2 Lion's Eye Diamond + Haakon, Stromgald Scourge. It's pretty much invulnerable to removal (unless it removes Haakon from the game). No matter which card is discarded, Haakon still comes out. If any one thing is destroyed (and I doubt more than one will be, since the other decks have to have a win condition), it still works, and you get a 3/3 :p
