The flavor of ambush.. .does it really fit into the colors of White, Green and Red? Not in terms of mechanics.. but in terms of the 'flavor' of the colors?

I know my reasons, but do you think blue and black should get some ambush in Powershift?

Well, blue and black have ninjutsu, and green, white and red have ambush? Opposite mechanics, in a sense, and yet similar flavour-wise.

I wouldn't have a problem with blue and black getting ambush.

Perhaps I should rename Ninjitsu and add it to Powershift?

But Ninjutsu was offensive, while Ambush is defensive. So it makes sense that White and Green get it. Black shouldn't have it because black is rarely defensive. Blue's defensive tricks come from magic and manipulation, not creatures (most of the time anyway). Red is the tricky one. Red is usually pretty offensive, but I like the flavor of adding a coming into play effect on the red ambushers. That fits well into red's "tricks".

i like as is. red seems an ambush type (cmon, you would think goblins could at LEAST ambush :P) white seems to ambush with its soldiers, and green has its dense jungles to ambush from.

this is from a total m:tg stand point of course.
