That's quite an efficient dragon. Capable of flying, fire breathing, and under the right circumstances.. double-striking.

Words of War is a cool Hellbent deck mechanic, but you'dhave to have good timing, or you'd get smoked quick. :?

Anyway, the dragon looks cool, but not as uber-sexy as you might think... It is expensive, although it's worth it. It's just a deceptively large creature under the guise of four mana. XD

ummmmmm, lets say you HAVE hellbent. for just :r::r::r::r:, youll get flying and 10 damage straight to your opponent (which wont be hard with seal of doom)

it's at 4cc, which so by the time you pull out the the dragon.. you can have no card in your hand. It can come down as a 3/3 doublestrike for 4cc.. that's insane. It's pretty much a teenage tyrant dragon that makes the original look like an old geezer.

You don't need Seal of Doom. That costs too much anyway. Did you read the rest of the article? :P lol Shock, Seal of Fire, any really cheap burn card works. Clear the way and empty your hand at the same time :wink: and if you have Seething Song-type cards, those help empty your hand as well as boost the dragon. Mmmmm dragon *steals them all* :paranoid:

Only thing that sucks is you have to pay :r::r: to make it fly. Bleh. It's all that guy in the background's fault! Burn him!! Oh yea and the fact you can stop it with Mortify, Putrefy, Fetters, Glare, spirit tokens... pfft. I still want it anyway :mrgreen:

turn 2 mountain, 2 seals of fire/other cheap things
turn 3 mountain, desperate ritual, dragon
turn 4, attack, seething song, pump into a 9/3 double strike or a 7/3 flying double strike

ooo...the fun of hellbent dragons.

clear the board with a pyroclasm or savage twister, and then drop his sexiness next turn. your opponent will have a hard time coming back from that. gotta have green though... naturalize is a must in the case of a fetters.

I think we can all agree that this card is very good; honestly, double-strike that cheaply has the potential for disaster. Finally a use for One With Nothing! Ever think that Wizards made Hellbend just so they could justify OWN?

This + Rakdos Anthem and enough mana to leap it is an instant win if you have Hellbent.

Although this card doesn't look that good, it is good once you have a lot of red mana, like playing spells such as Seething Song and/or Desperate Ritual. And besides, it's the only Dragon in Dissension. Come on, people! Just don't diss it; respect it!
