Hey guys, got some cards over from MTGS. They'll get up in the DKC pretty soon, but for now here they are:

Entropic Eidolon (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=20325&d=1144266769)
Supply/Demand (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=20326&d=1144266842)
Cytoplast Wood-Kin (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=20327&d=1144266858)

Yay, graft confirmation.
Wood-kin seems fun. A 4/4 for 4 that makes your other graft creatures bigger, not bad.

The first two seem to push a theme of "multicoloredness matters."

Supply//Demand ruins FR2's theory, though.

Its typical RnD humour to have a 4/4 for 4 be a 'Fat Treefolk'. :wink:

The splits are: 5 Allied-coloured guilds (Example: Supply and Demand both have white and its friends blue and green.)
5 Enemy-coloured guilds (example: Crime and Punishment both have black, and it's enemies white and green)
So apply the same to all the other colours.

It feels really weird though...because usually the guild champions are on the boosters. One is Isperia, another is Lyzolda, and the last is the Cytoplast Root-Kin. Hmm...

@Yawgmoth: feeling like a flamingo?

Not quite sure what DKC means, but I got your back on the uploading Ghurghs. I have to say I like each of these pretty well. The only underpowered one seems to be Entropic Eidolon, but I still like it's recursive effect. Demand seems very overpowered. Probably one of the best tutors that I've seen in this block, along with Infernal Tutor. Well, that's my opinion about the new cards. Rumor Season is really starting to heat up. :)

LOVE THE ELEMENTAL!!!

The recursion common guy is mediocre at best.

Demand is just this block's version of Eerie Procession. It's not broken, and as Procession showed us, may not be even be considered powerful.

anyone know what the card is under the elemental? It looks like it is U/G

'cept Eerie Procession can't find Vindicate.

It is the XGW/1WU Split, Supply and Demand.

Or 'Tog...or any other of the insanely good multicolor cards from Magic's past.

But considering W has never been a good splash in Tog, and U has never been good to splash in W/B...

Eerie Procession digs for Shoals, CE, various goodies that were used in Gifts, Horobi's Whisper/Rend Flesh...

The point is besides the fact that the cards are good in different environments, they're both a little clunky (card digging that doesn't give card advantage should cost about 2 like Intuition to be considered good) and both require annoying splashes that really don't want to be made.

:shock: so many counters. I really need Doubling Seasons. I don't care for that graft ability though, kinda boring. It's alright :roll:. Demand is pretty sweet, but there are a lot of good mono- or no-color cards it can't find :P I like the Eidolon! :mrgreen: go Orzhov!! Just have it chump block, sac it for a 2 point life swing, bring it back, rinse and repeat :twisted: too bad it costs so much. I'd probably use it in limited though. Hybrids are multicolored too, so that helps :wink:

Dude, using a Doubling Season in combination with a Graft ability, especially the Cytoplast Root-Kin, would greatly strengthen your armada of creatures

So Demonic Tutor is marginal. I mean, you're using one card to gain one card, how pointless is that! :roll:

Oh, and Intuition costs three.

DKC = Dissension Known Cards
I'll be using that from now on too.

Adding tutors is like adding extra of whatever card in your deck it can search for. If you're playing 4x Vindicates, 4x Togs, and 4x Demand, that's like having 8x Vindicate and 8x Togs! Not exactly the same, of course, but without it you're stuck with trying to draw the few copies you're allowed. When you get Demand or about any tutor, it's like top decking the perfect card at a small price :wink:

Yup it would. Still boring, though. Why pump your creatures when you could sacrifice and recur them a billion and a half times for some insane amount of abilities?! :devil: *sac this: blow up half your board, draw cards, bring other stuff back to do it again and again and again...*
