I have been playing and taking lessons for the piano for nearly 9 years. I have also been playing and taking lessons for Saxophone for 6 years. I was wondering if any one else here played any musical instruments. I am in marching band at my high school.

Wassup stolin you know that I play an instrument but ill post anyway. I play the Trombone and I have been taking lessons for 5 years. I am also in my schools marching band. GO PATS!! 4-2 what what!!

okay, this is really wierd, Stolin.

I've been playing piano and saxophone (alto) for exactly the same amount of time you have!!!

I'm in band, too...

The school band I'm in is pathetic, we always get second to last. We got first once because everyone else didnt show up. We are horrible.

But I play piano on the side and am extremely happy to do so. I play jazz piano mostly now. BTW, if you play piano and want to learn jazz, buy the "Real Book." Watch out though, it is illegal and hard to find, but it is necissary for learning what jazz truly is.

Do not purchase fake Real Books or Reel books or Real Real Books or Real Book Volume whatever. Only the Real Book is real. I improvise.

Jazz piano is what the true masters of piano play. Anyone can play classical, only a real musicial can improvise.

Sorry for taking so long to say anything, but that was necissary for anyone who wishes to play piano. Real piano.

I play the Tin Whistle (Irish Instrument) and the guitar. Does singing count? If so I've been in the School choir for *counts on fingers* i think about 5 years. I'm the only boy in the choir...heheheh all the rest are girls XD
