I'm sorry to see Streetz go, but at the same time, I'm glad that the site will still be alive and well. Hopefully, I won't embarass myself writing along side the great Mike Flores. But he knows nothing about the Rumor Season.

I'm glad that I'll be getting more views, seeing as I'll be advertised on, not one, but two sites now. Or I may just get kicked off because SCG can find better freelancers than me. Either way, I'm glad that MDV is sticking around.

And we get to keep our forums also. That's good, because I would hate if all that work that BB put into these forums is all in vain.

Like I said before, I'm very sorry to see Streetz go, but sometimes life is rough. And if a company is willing to buy out your business for that amount of money, sometimes it is worth it. Maybe Streetz can start a bigger and better site with the sum of money that he's collected, whenever he finds enough time to start one.

Until then, I will keep contributing to MDV with my articles and information about rumors. I must admit that those SCG ads are going to get annoying pretty quickly, but I should be able to work around them. And watch out for my new Exit 267 article about Dissension. I should have it done by tommorrow.

You put it very well Lionden. Things must end to allow for new beginnings. We will miss you Streetz. Good Luck in your chorus. I hope it works out well for you. And, who knows, maybe somehow you'll get enough time to take your chances on a new site. Later everyone.

Youll be getting one. My last article was a more recent article, so they contacted me and asked how often I could write, and had no problems with school getting in the way; after all, we are the casual side of Magic. They, however, had an april fools joke to create, which was that MaRo and other WotC writers joined SCG. The email was short and sweet, and was conducted as such:

Read that again. Streetz is selling MDV I took a pause and said: No, that's not true. Not MDV...

For a short moment, you guys (Lionden_56 and Streetz) almost got me to cry a river (hehe j/k).

It was the exact feeling of remembering 10 years before playing 2-3 games of magic with friends, then play with the new nintendo 64 (MarioKart), go swim outisde, come back to play 2-3 games of magic and redoing the cycle during each week, weekend and summers... until we get older, passes to girlfriend, jobs and more serious thing and end today saying: things changed, fast.

Seriously, MDV might one day "end" like this. Until then, I will enjoy each visit reading superb feature article by gamers that writes what I feel like when I remember those old days. I will also continue to enjoy the community who involves for free their time to answer question about anything you could ask about magic, rules, ideas and more.
But the most important person not to forget about is Streetz. MDV might sure not looks like SCG, and this is what people who likes, loves magic needs sometime; the feeling of not surfing on a business website.

Hey, it was somewhat late. And I get those two confused a lot. Plus the joke was only going to last for another hour, here on the East Coast. I don't think I messed it up too badly. :(
