Retired Threads

Excuse me streetz, but there a lot of forums that eventually retire threads, which are moved to a 'Retired Threads' forum where they can still be viewed, but are locked.

Examples of threads that could be retired....
-The Mod check in thread
- Clan contests after they are over
- etc....

Exactly, any old contest or something with a dead line. :D

Sounds like a good idea.. although I would prefer retired threads to not be retired for at least 10 days after the thing is over.

I will try and implement this this week.

10 days is probably a good idea for that. The first clan contest will be over soon. Then there is the CELIXIA one. And the sept check-in.
Will there be an Oct. one?

Right now I cannot make any sub forums.. and the work involved to get subforms will take about 4 hours and a lot of risky moves on my part (if I was to install it myself).

This is one of the things I need a techie for. :P

Please post something about this in the 'things to add' thread in the admin forum. Thanks.
