Magic the Gathering: And Peace Shall Sleep
by Sonia Orin Lyris

292 Pages - HarperPrism 1996.

What are a few battles among friends?
Reod Dai was being paid big money - elf money- to stir up trouble among the Icatian-Goblin border. And the Havenwood elves were getting their money's worth. Dragon eggs are ideal weapons in the hands of someone like Reod, who knows just what to do with them.

But when the elves abruptly canceled his contract, Reod found himself low on funds and lower on options. He set off on his way to Havenwood in a desperate attempt to reason with the elves, because he can't very well reason with dragon eggs. And those have to be used

And soon.

Or else...

And peace shall sleep.

It is an older book, but I'm offering it up to anyone that wants to take it.

There are two conditions.
1: You must be willing to post a synopsis and/or review here in the forum.
2: You must be willing to send the book on at cost to the next person that wants it.

Let me know you are interested, I have a couple more books if more than one person wants them. I'll be posting them later based on well this goes over.

Can't believe no one wanted a free book

A free book with conditions attached to it that no one wants to deal with apparently.

Offer a free video game instead, watch the opposite reaction happen. :P

(Personnaly, I don't remember when I last read a book. Not because I don't like reading, I just don't remember when I last had time to read a book. Otherwise, I'd gladly help you out. :))

If it wasn't for the second condition, I'd be like: "yah sure" :P.

eh, i have time and have been wanting to have a good read. the condition is fine by me. though before i agree to anything i need to ask...is it really worth reading? what would you compare the writing style to? cuz id hate to waste a few days of my life on something terrible.

I believe that's exactly what Cashew wants you to say in the book's review. If that was already done, what would be the point in someone else doing it again? :P

oh i was under the impression that he had already read it, and wanted to contrast it against someone else's opinion.

so if thats the case, then yeah forget it. as i only read fiction thats recommended to me, because of the amount of time i spend on my studies.
