Hey guys me and my group did our first booster draft last night. I'm glad i can say i came in second, after making some horrable draft mistakes.

My Opening Pack netted me a Cylain Sunsinger so i decided to draft Naya.
then i got passed to PtE and cracked my my self.

The second Pack i made some stupid picks as i though for a second i was draft Bant so i picked a few blue cards. when i realized it i though it would rally hurt my chances.

But i worked through it

Cylian Sunsinger was teh absolute star of this get. 2 games i was swimg for 5 on turn 3. and he showed up late game a couple time other game to help.

I went 3-1 and came

3 path and 2 fallout is absolutlely the nuts, even in triple conflux that shouldn't happen...
Can we see what you didn't play? There are two cards I think should be changed, and I'd like to see what you could have played over them.

And you land count is probably 2 too low.

I'd go Gleam of Resistance over Bone Saw. Bone Saw is bad and Gleam is probably he best of the Land Cyclers...its phenomenal.

I'd add another aven Trailblazer over Memory Lapse...a 2/3 flier for 3 is much better than a temporary counterspell. Sure, you psudo time-walk them, but you have no answer for that spell the next time they play it. And besides, if its a creature you'll just kill it with one of the 8 million removal spells you have...

Other than that, just up the land count (you want to be running 16-18, and with three very mana hungry cards (hunt-pride, plowbeasts, firey fall), 15 and 16 are too few. I'd drop the Thalid and one of the Becons for lands.

Other than that very solidly drafted and built.

I have found Quenchable Fire to be invaluable. I can't count the number of times it has landed for 6 in a limited format. Even if it doesn't it has often saved me a turn from the 5 color pump guys. Plus it's always nice to have that last 3-6 points without having to swing.

Quenchable fire is fine, certainly, but his deck has so many playables that I really don't think it makes the cut. There are just so many better cards in the pool.

There was only one deck besides my own that didn't run blue so i figured most of teh time it would be 3 damage for 4 mana

Just because thry run blue, unless it's one of their major colors, doesnt mean that they'll have a way, or be willing, to pay it. Even if they do itll often set them back a turn. Im not saying you had to play it, but is almost always worth considering.
