Here Is the sign up thread for this months MDV League Double elmination Tournament.

FryChkin is taking over this event.

Format: T2 Pauper
The K value for this tournament is 16
Deck list and codes are due. March 14.

Rules for Pauper
Deck Construction for this variant is limited on the number of uncommons and rares that you can have in your deck. You can have: no rares, 10 uncommons, and unlimited commons.

You forgot to delete the general line you copy and pasted :-p. I deleted it for you. And in your rules thing, its kind of ambiguous. I'd pick one of the methods and stick with that.

I'm in, but I'm going to hold off on the deck code because I have a question...is this with or without sideboard? I don't know what the pauper rules on that are.

So Haggis giving me the power to run this tourney isn't a bad thing is a good thing. So he can run the other tournies :E

Let's begin.

There are 9 guys and only 3 send deck and tomorrow is the deadline. I'll PM the others so they can send it.

If they doen't send it by tomorrow, there will be a 3 way dance.

Don't forget the credit prize :E

Ok here is the deal.

Neo only send the deckcode. Acording to teh Haggis rule, you need to send both. You need to send me the deck or you are Fried.

if fry is playing....why does he get all the deck LISTS....unfair advantage much.

I don't mind sending it to someone who isn't playing, but as for sending a decklist to someone who is playing, that seems a lil underhanded if you ask me

Haggis was playing and organizing. Everyone send their deck and deckcode, if you got a problem with that, why didn't you said it before when haggis was organizing but when I'm organizing you make that comment.

So, like I said, send it or make your complain to the league guy Haggis, that made the rule and like I said before he was playing and you needed to send both things to him.

I've always kind of had issue with this, but since this isn't a hyper competitive setting I never really cared that much. The fairest thing to do would be have Fry post his list in the forum so that everyone can see his list, as he's seen everyone else's list.

I agree partialy to you lionden... But there is some several stuff that I want to mention:

1) As you can see, I already send to Haggis the deck and code so I can't change it.
2) Seen that the deck and deckcode send was til yesterday I'll post it right now.

You don't need a program for 8 person Double Elim...Get 8 index cards, put everyone's name on one...shuffle, deal them out...bam, pairings. Then after round one, take the 4 that won, shuffle them, deal them out, do the same for the 4 that lost, and bam, pairings. After round 3, there will be two undefeateds, so they play each other, 4 2-1's so they random play each other (note that two people can't play each other twice unless there's no other possible alternative, so be mindful of that when pairing the 2-1's. The other two will have been eliminated.

Basically, you just keep pairing people with like records and dropping X-2s until there's only 2 left. Its fairly common sense.

I felt kinda of guilty that i got to see teh deck aswell, which was also a factor of me dropping from the tournament.

When Fry asked me if i need help with the tourny and i gave it to him, he already had his list sent in. So i went with the honour system that he wouldn't change his deck (and he didn't, cudos for posting your deck in fairness)

I dropped the ball on this one and I am sorry, I was use to not playing in the games i ran. from now on if the organizer wants in the tourny, then deck codes will be the only thing required. Once again sorry.
