I was doing random card look ups and I noticed something that in my mind clicked together.

Coffin Queen & Myojin of Night's Reach

To me in my mind I thought of what if Night's Reach was Coffin Queen in a different plane like her "spirit" was weakened because she was native to Kamigawa. I don't know if I am explaining it correctly.

Another idea was what if Coffin Queen was a Night's Reach "offspring" and her children grow up within other realms to become that planes patron of the Night.
