Basic Rules:The rules of this forum include all normal Magic Deck Vortex forum rules in addition to the following:
If you are caught trying to rig this award forum, you will be suspended until the end of the year. This is for fun – not for personal profit. Remember that.
Vote and nominate for who you feel deserves the award. Don’t vote because the person is your friend…
If you don’t know the category well enough, don’t vote or nominate in that category.
You cannot nominate yourself. You can vote for yourself once voting start.

The first round of forum awards is for nominations. Please post your nomination with minimal additional information. Do not respond to other nominations. If you fail to follow the rules, your nomination may be disqualified.
Once the nominations are complete, the top three to six people will be placed on the ballot and voted upon.
The visitor with the most votes will be declared the winner for the 2008 Forum Awards in that category.
Specific Information about Nominating and Voting.
Only one nomination is allowed per category for each member.
Only post the user name. Some brief comments are allowed, but looked down upon.
Be sure to use the full name of the member of the forums. If I can’t recognize who you are talking about, I can’t count it as a nomination or vote.
Your vote is final when it is posted. You cannot edit your post else your vote will or nomination will be disqualified.
Gimmick accounts are not allowed to vote in this contest. Gimmick accounts will be tracked down and the user will be penalized for trying to rig the awards
You are allowed to nominate a user that has already been nominated.
Banned members cannot be nominated.
Members of the MDV forum cannot nominate themselves for any category.
Nomination threads will remain open for a time frame to be determined. The actual voting will start sometime in early December 2008.
Remember that this contest embodies the entire year and not just the last month.
