MDV Standard Swiss #2 Tournament Results and Pairings

This Is the Pairing/Results Page for the MDV Standard Swiss tournament.

Your pairings will be posted in two places: This post and as a new post in the thread (to bump it). Along with the pairings I'll give you a deadline of when those matches need to be played.

Results will be posted in this thread. Result pages should include the number of games each player won (IE I beat Streetz 2-1). Both players must report. If one player reports first the other simply has to quote the message and underneath it post the word "confirmed".

Once all the results are in or the deadline comes I'll post the pairings for the next round.

This tournament will be 4 rounds of swiss with no cut.

The Texen Payout is as follows:
1st gets 40
2nd gets 25
3rd gets 15

You have been paired randomly, you have 3 days to get you matches in. If you cannot come to a mutual time to play your match, send me or Lionden a PM quoting your conversation with your opponent, showing us that you made an effort but could not come to an agreement. This will result in a draw. If your opponent doesn't respond to your attempts to set up a time, send us a message showing this and you'll be credited for a win. If you both disappear you both get losses.

Ah man. Of all the first round matches i had to play against one of the guys who i haven't won a single game against yet. And he's give me the most loses from a single person.

It was rigged I tell you. I demand to know my rights on what i can do in response.

Niv didn't need to get all worked up. I'm playing a fun deck this week, and to be honest, it didn't perform well.

Make sure you read the walk through on the download page. Try slowing down too, I bet you are going too fast.

Haggis, dont take it personal man, all of MDV is in hibernation mode right now. The Writer's Guild, who is supposed to be the most active people in the community, is absolutely dormant. Maybe the thing to do is just restart the tournament, do some advertising, allow new people to enter, and start over with it.

December is typically a really busy month - at least for those of us still in school of some sort.

Also, what happened to the other formats? I don't play standard.

It's like Tynion closed that old school tournament and then everything else just stopped besides the standard tourney.

I think we should close everything down and wait till January, then come back in full swing again when everyone is fresh.

That is a good idea Fu, perhaps we could get re-organized. Maybe we need a few people specialized in certain formats to host those formats. I really think we should re-think the whole 'not playing in our own tournament' item. We don't have enough players to eliminate one interested player. We arn't playing for prizes anyways...
