I wonder if that's Momir Vig on the 2nd box design? He certainly is Simic, but as Angel of Depsair showed, they may not be putting legends onto box covers anymore. Still, I have a feeling he might be :). I love how a lot of the artwork in the Ravnica block is based on the colours of the cards. Momir Vig's background being green with the elf himself being illuminated by a blue light will look gorgeous on the gold card, like Niv-Mizzet does :D.

And that bottom one- is that Grand Arbiter Augustine? If so- it looks bloody brilliant, although I think there's a touch too much green in that picture- makes it a BIT too similar to something Simic...

I think we've seen all the guildmasters, but why is grand arbiter augustin wearing a helmet. And just so everyone knows that thing that looks like an enormous brain is part of his throne thingy. I'm also gonna have to agree with on the fact that thats momir vig, I think he's kind of ugly though, his shoulders are very broad and he's bald. He's not what i expected at all, but itll be cool to see on the gold card. And thats obviously rakdos. And is grand arbiter augustin human or vedalken? Noone has ever really clarified, because before guildpact came out i thought that niv-mizzet was human, i didnt realize that he was literally a dragon wizard, i thought that he was a wizard of dragons. Sorry im a little out there :(

Augustine isn't actually wearing a helmet, it's just part of the design of his...'dress' :P. It looks Vedalken...possibly he is one :)l

I'm thinking Sphinx too. White Sphinxes are more common than blue Griffins.

Lammasu have a human head, bull's body, and wings. Said so in an Arcana once. That's definately a feline.

It's been long since I've read into mythology but doesn't the Lammasu only have lionheads? Sort of like the Chimera?

Edit: Oops, they are supposed to have lionmanes and human faces.

The Rakdos guildmage sort of looks like a ghoul/viashino.
