Blah lost my reply somehow - I basically ran your Fat White and Red's coupled with tons of Goblins from Black and Red, with all the removal possible from White, Red, Black. You don't have many "whammy cards" but Dolmen Gate is a bomb. Imo your must plays

White:
Oblivion Ring
Crib Swap
Cloudgoat Ranger
Aribter of Knowledge
Kinsbale Balloonist
Oaken Brawler

Black:
Boggart Harbinger
Boggart Logger
Footbottom Feast
Marsh Flitter
Theiving Sprite
Weed Strangle

Red
Axegrinder Giant
Caterwauling Boggart
Ingot Chewer
Tarfire

Artifact
Dolmen Gate

Interesting. With so little mana fixing, how would you build the mana base?

This is what I got, although I'm still learning how to make sealed and practice every so often. Dolmen gate is pretty good, and rather annoying because few cards can destroy it, let alone people decide to run them.

I felt there weren't enough Faeries to merit using them, so I got rid of them, looked at the goblins and boggarts; proceeded to getting rid of black. Realizing there was little black left, took out the rest.

Went to red, got rid of it. Not enough Merfolk to merit running them, so off they went. Then the white ones, which left me with Green and White. It's okay, not amazing though. Rings of brighthearth help a little, and if they can be used on the moonglove extracts well that's a nice little bonus. :P Hope this helps.

Amadeus, what was the deck you created? I'm interested to know. :D

Another interesting approach.

My initial concern was that I have very little mana-fixing. There is Springleaf Drum, and Fertile Ground though that forces you into Green.

Personally, like Cashew, I felt that the best cards were in Black, Red and White. Due to lack of mana-fixing, I initially chose to go Red-Black Goblins:

:b::r:

Lands
9 Swamp
8 Mountain

Creatures
1 Boggart Harbinger
1 Knucklebone Witch
1 Marsh Flitter
1 Thieving Sprite
1 Spiderwig Boggart
1 Quill-Slinger Boggart
1 Boggart Loggers
1 Exiled Boggart
2 Caterwauling Boggart
1 Mudbutton Torchrunner
1 Boggart Forager
2 Boggart Sprite-Chaser
1 Axegrinder Giant

Other Spells
1 Weed Strangle
1 Footbottom Feast
1 Peppersmoke
1 Tarfire
1 Boggart Shenanigans
1 Dolman Gate
2 Moonglove Extract

The deck hangs together ok but lacks power. I then restructured a bit to include more of the Red Elementals - especially since Caterwauling Boggart also applies its ability to Elementals.

However, I looked longingly at the White cards and the obvious power lurking there. I tried restructuring after Cashew's feedback and added in the key White cards. It definitely felt like I had more power, though obviously without fixing I ran into colour trouble from time-to-time. Not as badly as I expected so far, but still felt it.

BTW - I did take a look at the :g::w: Elves/Kithkin approach but felt there was too much power in Red/Black to leave it alone.

EDIT: How many creatures should you run in a Sealed deck? How about in a booster draft for that matter? (I'm attending FNM and doing booster drafts).

Ah, so you'll run that one thieving sprite for the one discard? It's not bad by itself, I guess I go deeper into themed and not have one card unless it helps. I'm trying to add that into my thought-process through colors, but usually 3-4 cards isn't enough to run them without enough mana-fixing.

The Rings help the moonglove extracts go off twice, so it's not too bad. Hey Amadeus, we could always compare our decks on MWS sometime and see which one was the better way. :P
