I want to start a DnD game for six players that may use any classes. All characters must be made on this website: http://www.pathguy.com/cg35.htm. Also, they must all be cleared by me. Once you have made your character PM it to me. To sign up, just claim a spot on the thread. Once we have six people who can regularly updat the thread with their actions, we will begin. The setting is my own. It is a classic DnD-style continent but all dragons have been asleep for 200 years. Eventually I will get a map online for everyone. All dice rolling will be done by me using real dice. Don't worry I don't cheat dice. If anyone has any questions, ask away.
P.S. Backstories are required for every characters.

Oh and use the 28 point buy for tougher campaigns setting for abilites and roll the dice button for random setups. Only base races. No templates. No evil characters. 5th level is starting level. You may have any nonmagical items, within reason (meaning I'll tell you if I think you have too much.)

Awesome, 3 out of 6. Go ahead and make characters and PM them to me or e-mail them to cgrant1650@ac.edu.

This is a summation of the rules for character creation.

PM me the sheet once it's done.

House Rules
At any time a player may ask the DM to roll a good stuff/bad stuff dice. The DM will roll 1d6. If the result is 1 bad stuff will occur in the near future. If a 6 is rolled good stuff will happen in the near future. (ex. Three players are attacked by a Girallon. Both players request a gs/bs dice to be rlled for the encounter. Player 1 gets a 4, player 2 gets a 1, and player 3 gets a 6. The Girallon chooses to attack number 2 without provocation by separating him from the group, but when number 3 goes to attack the girallon, number 3's warhammer hits the ceiling at a weak spot causing it to collapse on the girallon. Player 1 is unaffected by the roll, however.)
Critical rolls do not require verification. Also, you may choose to have your critical attacks deal either their crit damage or have me roll on a critical roll table. The critical roll table will cause your attack to do a % of the target's total hp in damage and cause a minor, medium, or major side effect (these range from bloodied noses to decapitation, most all of which affect stats).
Roll Playing is enforced and XP will be taken away for ooc actions or statements and XP bonuses will be given for excellent role playing.

Well, I am having a half change of heart. Let's vote on this. Who wants to use the forum's dice roller and who wants real dice rolled?

Why don't you think the forum dice arn't random anyway?`

Because they are a program, and programs can't be truly random, there must be a pattern entered or the computer freaks out.

Maybe you should put it into some kind of test :D

eh, not worth the time. But we will use it if everyone is ok, after all as a DM I'm here to make sure my players enjoy the game.
