The comic itself I would classify as marginally funny, but the shading and artwork is insane. O.O

I love the Ultimus poster in the background.

The art is fantastic, and the text is decently funny. Good job guys! Hope to see more soon!

Thanks for all the comments! It was very hard to do all the colouring in photoshop, though. Syphon and I have some more comics coming up :)

Yawgmoth did all the work. Praises go to him, not me.

This is fun, you guys. Hoping to see more like this.
By the way, they should so sell Mana Screw hoodies like that. :D

Glad you noticed the Mana Screw hoodie ;) I thought it was beyond recognition when I resized it. Most of the newspaper headlines went that way though.
Syphon deserves some praise for the idea and concept, I liked the script - but I probably did not deliver it as good as I should have. The part that was best translated from idea is the Ultimus-poster :P Although I like myself with dreads/tubes for hair... Hmm, I have to change avatar.

OOOH. I was never realized that was a 'screw' behind the 'mana'. Very cool indeed.

Ditto, I thought it was a zipper. XD
Streetz, do you think a webcomic script mod could be in order?

webcomic script mod
What's that?
Yawgmoth
02-05-2006, 10:43 AM
In my opinion a webcomic script mod should be in [Order]
Hehe ;)
Edit: A webcomic script mod would probably be some sort of script that handled webcomics. Most webcomic (Rob and Elliot Comic, PA, etc.) I believe have them. (I may misunderstand though)

It's a special HTML script that webcomics use. It makes the whole, "First--Previous--Next--Newest" buttons work properly.

that was like watching a couple of bad magic players with the TV on the news station in the background.

Ouch, I guess.
Edit: I guess I try a different approach for the next comic then. Thanks yet again for the comments.

perhaps I was expecting something else.. I dunno. I think its great to support the guys here. Believe it or not, I edited what I was origninally gonna say. I feel like Simon, ripping on someone, and err.. well may be I can see why he does it, but while it feels funny, it feels bad at the same time.
Sorry guys. May be the next one I will like better.
You could take some tips from Garfield or something. May be if you mix in a fat cat eating lasagnia, it will be better? May be fireball Garfield.
I should also vocalize, that you can ignore me since I am not a comic or even anime fan.

Whereas I am, andI thought it was fine. Not hilarious best-stuff-ever good, but fine.

Garfield is like the most boring comic ever :P A fat cat eating lasagne again and again and again, and then Jon screams GARFIELD! ;) the cat is cute though.
I myself only draw stuff, I'm not a very humorous person. And I'm not particulary good at writing English stories either (or even Swedish for that matter). So I leave that to Syphon.

The next comic will be a either a crossover or a comment on current events. Whichever Yawgmoth feels like drawing.
