Seems like a fad here
Well, I'm a newbie here, and I'm really looking forward to discussing Magic with mature peeps, seems like every other forums about MTG is ridden with imbeciles.
Few things about me; I'm from Quebec City, and am a 24 years old (25 wedenesday) gamer in all sense of the word. I work in a Blockbuster-like place, being the videogame maniac of the place. I also "teach" how to play Miniatures (the Dungeons and Dragons game) and Magic the Gathering to yougsters with psychological problems.... not retards, more like hyper-active, violent and very selfish childs, psychological problems you don't get when you're born.... It's fun anyways, but draining. (Try explaining the stack to a 9 year old)
I've been playing Magic for 2 years now, and I started hard and fast. I bought 1/3 of a booster pack box when I didn't even have a full fledged deck. A guy that makes tournament was there and gave me the cards I needed to fall for the game. Plus I got the crash course for the rules. Since then, I've never stopped playing, I've now got 10 decks, mainly tribal decks with a hint of combo.
PS: How frustrated would you be if one of your friend managed to get a Platinum Angel, Rathi Dragon, Meloku and a freakin' Morphling.... all for 3 bucks?! (canadian of course)
