What's your favorite Magic Card?

I'd have to say I have two all time favorites:

Rasputin Dreamweaver

and

Triskelion


I have a full playset (finally) of Rasputin. And I have about 30 Triskelions.

Recurring Nightmare is one of my favorites. I had this cool deck that dropped a Spirit of the Night into the graveyard, then sac a one drop to get a turn 3 or 4 Spirit of the Night.
Also, because of that deck Spirit of the Night is one of my favorite cards. Before Akroma it held the record for most abilities on one card :D . 6/5 with flying, trample, haste, first strike when attacking, and Pro Black. The 6BBB casting is a little high, but with the nice reanimator trick, I got over that hurdle. Plus the Urborg Panther-Feral Shadow-Breathstealer shenanigans, I could get him into play even when is wasn't in my hand.

In more recent times, my favorite card is Arashi, the Sky Assunder. I mean 5/5 for 3GG, Channels-XGG, deals X damage to each creature with flying. Or, once it hit the board, XG,T: deal X damage to target creature with flying. I'm just 1 away from his playset.

I like numerous cards. but especially OATH OF LIM DUL
I love cards like that, cards that affect the whole play style. like celestial convergance and stuff. Where is this Lim Dul guy. they should make the card soon. should be awesome.

Order of Yawgmoth is my favorite card art-wise. I'll always hold a place in my heart for Draco, him being my first rare.

Hrm... I have not gotten a single legendary.. Yes, it's very sad. Very, very sad. I'll always like Lunar Avenger and Suncrusher, as they were my first favorite cards. I was introduced in Mirrodin, so I really like that set.

Favorite creature: This one is a toughie... I'm between Exalted Angel and Marsh Crocodile (the Angel is just nuts and I've always loved the interaction of the Croc with CIP-creatures)

My favorite card is either Reya Dawnbringer (my first legend, yay!) or Desolation Angel (coolest black angel!!). I like angels. :)

Silvos is really nice. I also love hyppie and nether spirit. Catacomb Dragon is amazing too, i really want one(THE ART) :( , kokusho is a nice guy too.

Kagemaro has a place here too, even if it is just of the AMAZING comic of ugmadness.

gotta love vampiric dragon. i can consistently get out my ONE draggie in my r/b deck without reanimation or dragonstorm or anything that reduces costs :P

I'd have to say that my favorite magic cards are the Alternate Win cycle and Coalition Victory. (Celestial Convergence is ok, but I prefer Test to it.)

Mortal Combat, Epic Struggle, Battle of Wits, Chance Encounter and Test of Endurance.

I currently have 2 decks built around these (Chance Encounter and Test of Endurance), though I have plans for decks featuring all of them.

i'd bet you expect me to say uyo...

my first rare was in the prophecy precon: Avatar of Woe (and rhystic tutor but at the time the Avatar appealed a lot more to me). So anyway this card is pretty special to me.

i like combo decks and recently i've really grown to like Early Harvest. Eye of the storm also has recently gained some interest from me. I really like meloku, i have a playset and I usually feel like putting 1 or 2 into a weird casual blue deck just for a strong backup win condition.

i like mirari, mirari's wake, rushwood elemental, lightning elemental, Wiitigo, fork, twincast, all the wishes, akroma(angel of wrath), akroma's vengence, shard phoenix,...... i have many favorites. but if your asking me which is my all time personal favorite then i can't answer, lol. just too many that are MY favorite.

Ide have to agree with Jimmy on this one, Angel of Despair is one of my top three. Granted the other two are Debtors' Knell, and Ghost Council of Orzhova. Though Im a big fan of angels in general.
Also have to give my props to my buddy Umezawa's Jitte, its gotten me through some tough times.
And a close second.. um fifth.. is Ink-eyes, Servant of Oni... Yeah... I can honestly say I love her!

Volrath's Shapeshifter is very underrated, but the fact that it allows you to combine the abilities of different creatures to do insane things (e.g Use the untap ability of Morphling 4 times, discard Arcanis the Omnipotent to draw 15 cards) and the fact that it can be pretty much every creature in Magic make it a winner for me.

I always liked Shapeshifters, planning on getting the Dimir Dopplegangers soon.

Lightning Bolt, the sheer simplicity of 3 to the melon is way too god to pass up. A main staple in every red casual / burn deck. Hands down, one of the best cards ever. (save p9 and that crap. At least this has always been affordable)

I love that Oath, but my favorite card is most likely Tradewind Rider or Capsize.

I used to collect Walking Walls, but it was only because people were ticked off that it was a rare, and could have been a Jester's Cap, and were giving it to me to see how many I could aquire. I had around 22 in my binder.

I have also always had a special place in my heart for annoying cards like Anvil of Bogardan, Ice Cauldron, Storm Cauldron, etc.

I picked a favorite for each card type, since I find it kind of hard to compare instants/sorceries to creatures sometimes.

Creature: Firemane Angel
Instant: Quash (for the record, I always wanted to see someone play this on a Cranial Extraction)
Sorcery: Fireball. God, I miss that one...
Enchantment: Underworld Dreams
Nonbasic Land: City of Brass

I was sad to have to cut Serra Angel from the list, but Firemane edged her out in an epic, righteous catfight.
