From what I can tell, this has not been posted, but since both of the cards have been out for a while, I wouldn't be suprised if it has.

What it needs to work:

2 Forgotten Ancient creatures in play
1 or more Doubling Season cards in play

The basic idea is that you have both Forgotten Ancients and a Doubling Season in play, and at least one of the Forgotten Ancients has at least 1 +1/+1 counter on it. Then, at your upkeep, move a counter from one Forgotten Ancient to the other, thus creating 2 +1/+1 counters on the receiving Forgotten Ancient, due to Doubling Season. Then, move those 2 counters back over to the first Forgotten Ancient, creating 4 counters, and so on and so forth.

Now, the only question I have is will it work? lol. I don't see any reason why it won't, and I've searched several sites for rulings on both cards, trying to see if something trips it up, but I haven't found anything. The one thing that concerns me is if you can keep moving counters from the Ancients like that during the same upkeep, or if you can only do it once per upkeep. Obviously, if you can only do it once then that would break the combo. But, I dont' see any sort of text on the card nor in any ruling that says you can only do it once, so if anyone can shed some light on it, that'd be good. Thanks. :)

Infinite mana + Golgari Guildmage!

I think you can only move the counters once per upkeep, because the upkeep only comes once a turn, and the ability triggers once per upkeep :?

Haha when I saw that I thought you meant infinite counterspells :P which is doable! Decree of Silence + Power Conduit + Aphetto Alchemist + Pemmin's Aura + Gilded Lotus  (which also gives infinite mana for that Guildmage )

You can only do it once, as the ability triggers at the beginning of your upkeep, and once it resolves, it's done.

Though assuming you have one counter on Ancient #1, you can move that to Ancient #2, which gets two counters, and you can move those to Ancient #1 to get four counters, but that's it.
