She stepped into a room filled with light. It was so bright, that she couldn't even open her eyes without experiencing pain. However, as she walked farther in, she discovered that the light grew dimmer, enough so that she could see the light's source. The light came from a man. A fallen angel in all his glorious perfection, he stood in the center of the room. As a moth to a burning flame, she was drawn to him, to his luminous beauty. Though as she walked toward the man, his light grew dimmer and dimmer. When she came inches from him, the light went out altogether. She reached out her hand, but the man wasn't there in the darkness. Startled, she drew back and as soon as he was out of her reach, the man appeared again, glowing faintly, but still in full splendor. She would never be able to hold his warm hand in hers, to feel his strong embrace, to kiss his flawless lips. In full anguish, she sat, unwilling to turn away, and gazed at the man. She was as close as she could get without his light going out, but far enough away to keep her pining and longing for him for all eternity...
