2007 Art Update - Christmas Themed!
12/19/07. Since I did a theme
last month, I figured I would do a theme this month too. This
month's theme: Christmas! But how would I do that? I'm glad
you asked. This month I've added to the Art Catacombs card arts
from white, green and red cards. Thus the Christmas Theme since
Christmas colors are white, green and red. Please enjoy!

2007 Art Update - One Word Theme!
11/27/07.
Today I've got 65 new card images for you all sharing the
same theme -- the cards they come from are one-word cards. Mind
you, some of them are from split cards. Brainheyser, Anaconda,
Cataclysm, Development, Obliterate, Flashfreeze, Unmask... to name a

Lorwyn
Week Art Catacomb Update - October 2007.
10/23/07. I scoured the web for
Lorwyn artwork and I'm happy to say I have over 75 pieces of art in this
update. All Lorwyn art!!! Some of these cards came from Magic
Tutor, some from artist websites, but most came from Wizard's main website
in some form or another. I did a lot of photo editing this time
around but I hope you can all appreciate it. Enjoy!

2007's Art Catacomb Update - 100 Added!!!
8/7/07. This month I've got 100
new pieces of artwork for you. All of which can be found by clicking
on the above link. Plus, they have all been synchronized with the
Art Catacombs - by artist. There are some oldies in the bunch and

Sight Art Catacomb Update!
5/31/07. Considering I haven't
updated the Art Catacombs with any new art in a few months, I figured it
be appropriate to add a little more this time. Today I am adding
eighty(80!) new
pieces of art, the majority of which are Future Sight pieces of art.
Some small, some large, all great art! Actually, all of them are

Art Catacomb Update!
2/15/07. Now that Planar Chaos is
out, I figured it appropriate to update the Art Catacombs of Magic Deck
Vortex with LOTS of Planar Chaos art. Everything from Akroma to
Dreamscape Artist can be found in the latest update. 42 of the 50
images are PC, while the others are goodies from Magic's past. I hope you enjoy the update as well as the Art

Art Catacomb Update!
1/7/07.
Given my expansive collection of Magic: the Gathering art, I will be
updating the Art Catacombs more often. This time around, I've adding

Catacombs Update: 50 New Pics!
11/21/06.
Perhaps I'll do this on a monthly basis. Last month I updated the
Art Catacombs will 50 new pieces of art. New to the Catacombs
anyway. This month I have updated the catacombs again and with the
same amount of new pics -- fifty of 'em! This update includes quite
a bit of Time Spiral art, some Coldsnap Art and even some art stretching
back the The Dark. I hope you enjoy the update as well as the Art

Catacombs Update: Some TS & More!

I have tons of artwork on my computer, but not all of it has been posted
in the MDV Art Catacombs. However, I'm working to resolve that.
Today I have added 50 more pieces of art to the Catacombs including some
art from Time Spiral, Coldsnap and various other MTG sets. In the

Catacombs Update: Avatar Art!
9/14/06.
What would a theme week be without an art update featuring artwork of the
theme. Now, I must say, in searched high and low for artwork for each
of the Avatars and I was only able to find about half of them. It
was quite frustrating as I know I've seen a good sized artwork for cards
like Sanguine Praetor and Excruciator. However, in searching I found some
better, bigger pieces of Avatar art to replace art I already had.

Time
Spiral Art? Why YES! 9 of 'em...
8/9/06.
Waiting for Time Spiral to be spoiled and/or
released isn't so bad if you have some pictures to look at... from the
set. Seven new pieces have been found on MTG Salvation and now I
will be adding them to the Art Catacombs of Magic Deck Vortex. Two
of the arts aren't really new.. and one really isn't like the other arts
(it's a photo of a banner/posted on a wall. I'm not 100% sure who
drew each one, so they will be added to the 'unknown artists' section in
the catacomb. To see the pictures, click here.

Art Catacomb
Update: 40 New Pics!!!
5/5/06.
Apologies for the recent lack of updates - my internet went down for a few
days. In the meantime, I feel it's time for an Art Catacomb update.
I've got lots of artwork on my computer, but I only have about 20% of that
art of the website. Thus the update. Added to the catacomb is
artwork from the most recent sets and even some artwork of yore.
Please enjoy! Note that some of these are better versions of art
