- Magic 2010, M10 for short, introduced several changes to the core set
including an onslaught of rules
changes (most known for the eradication of stacking combat damage,
battlefield, exile, casting, activating, static-izing deathtouch and
lifelink and simultaneous mulligans).
Other changes include printing planeswalkers in the
core set for the first time, printing never seen before cards in 50% of
the set, mythic rares, core sets will be printed every year now instead
of every two years and this is the first core set since Revised (3rd
edition) to not be labeled with an ordinal number.
