MTG Editor:  MtG Editor is a tool for creating Magic: the Gathering cards and entire sets.  MtG Editor is Freeware. The Java code, too, is free, and the webmaster welcomes anyone to help him develop it.  What can you do with MTG Editor?

  • You can construct MtG Cards.
  • You can then submit them so I can include them in the collection.
  • You can keep a link to your card so you can continue editing later on.

If you've ever paid anything for a card editor, you should be asking yourself WHY?  Why?  Because you can get it for free here and it is GREAT.  I am now using it to make all of the MDV Celixia cards.  Webmaster, out.

The Slivertorium:  This site is incredible if you like Slivers.  Created by Chris Eisensmith (A.K.A. Syberaptor; A.K.A. Foxboy), he used Twan van Laarhoven’s Magic Set editor to makes the cards.  There are over 15 different slivers across all five colors including slivers called: Bramble Sliver, Frost Sliver, Empress of the Woods, Dragoncall Sliver, Conceited Sliver, Prismatic Sliver, Moonlight Sliver, Phantom Sliver, Morgue Sliver, Pact Sliver, Alpha Sliver, etc.  There are a whole bunch and each are interesting.  Someone referenced this site to me - and his name is Paul Ferris.  Thanks Paul!

RPG.GR.  This site is in all greek, but they have quite a nifty collection of fake, homemade cards in English.  This link takes you right to the page of fictional cards on their website.  Some of the cards are really interesting, while others simply offer some humor.  I found this website by accident using google image search; I was using the search to find art for some of my Celixia cards.  I cannot recall what the search was for, though!

Frivolity.com.  This site is yet another fictional card site, except without pictures.  They feature cards which revolve around cartoon characters and TV shows that are familiar to almost all of us.  They are all humorous in nature and interesting too.  Check this out and let me know if you see any worth making a picture-card with.

Project Overworld has a spoiler list for a new color of magic cards: Purple.  This site hasn't been updated since 1/03 but it is interesting to look at the cards this person has created for a color purple.

Magic Deck Vortex (www.magicdeckvortex.com) is a service provided by John Streetz to promote the knowledge and awareness of Magic: the Gathering as a collectible card game (casually, of course). This is a free site based out of Illinois that does not generate any profit for its owner. Magic Deck Vortex is based out of Illinois and has been around since August 2002.
