Description of deck by its author (quoted):
The addition of Shard Phoenix to the deck gives it a recurring Pyroclasm effect, as well as diversifying its win conditions in the face of Cranial Extraction. Electrolyze in the main and the side are both excellent against Orzhova, and decent at picking off Dryad Sophisticate and friends in response to a Moldervine Cloak. The deck remains susceptible to U/R land denial decks, but the addition of Solifuge can cause them serious headaches, especially if they have sided out their Pyroclasms. You may as well bring in Jushi to help offset your resource loss. Finally against Owl you bring in all the burn, Solifuges, and hope that in combination with some large shoals it's enough to finish off your opponent. The match still isn't great, but it is at least winnable. Ivory mask can be brought in as well as a foil to sudden Impact and as a card for the Shoal. Solifuge forces the Owl player to either keep Pyroclasm or Evacuation in his deck, and in response to a Pyroclasm there is always shoal. A similar strategy can be used against a Magnivore deck, using Solifuge to apply pressure and a large shoal (usually using an Angel) in response to a large Magnivore to finish them off.

Making changes to a deck is always a study in cost/benefit analysis. With the inclusions I have made the deck has also lost some key abilities. Gifts Ungiven along with the lone Rewind were removed, giving the deck slightly less search and counter power. In removing this card I have also fundamentally changed the sideboard, making the inclusions of single cards less beneficial. I have also upped the number of shock lands in order to increase the availability of red mana sources due to the inclusion of the Phoenix and the Electrolyzes. Over all I would feel good going to a tournament with the above deck, as long as my meta were not dominated by Eminent Domain or you expected numerous owl decks.

Playing this deck at a tournament is a meta-game gamble and the changes you make to it should reflect on what decks you expect to face. It is certainly a deck to keep your eyes on with the coming release of Dissension in just over a Month. The addition of the Blue/White guild could certainly add some real utility or fire power to the deck and push it in to a defining role within the format. That's just speculation, so until then I wouldn't be afraid to drop some Angels in the yard and drop a Weirding on the table.
