Description of deck by its author (quoted):
This deck combines red with green, and uses cards from the wider standard pool with the aim of maximising the potential of Leaf-Crowned Elder.

Plan A in this deck involves dropping a second turn Banneret to play defence while enabling you to speed out the more expensive guys. Wolf-Skull Shaman also allows you to build up some early blockers to prevent being overrun before the rest of the deck comes online. The kinship creatures will trigger 50% of the time in this deck, and pretty much every turn if you get a Cream of the Crop into play.

Once the Elder hits you should start getting a free spell a turn, which will quickly provide an overwhelming advantage. Going long, the recursion offered by Masked Admirers and Reach of Branches means that you should come out ahead in an attrition race.

Hopefully this has provided a bit more to think about when approaching the new shaman cards, let me know your thoughts on the forums. If this is an interesting topic to people I'll have a look at covering some of the other tribes...
