The
Red Answer [Eternal Lite].
Description of deck by its author (quoted):
I can't survey your Legacy metagame, but I
know mine is blue. Maybe U/x at best, but blue nonetheless. There might
be some Vial.dec spitting out Goblins once in a while, but card draw and
Counterspells are rampant here in Florida.
May the masses tremble at the thought of a communist
revolution!
If you don't have $300 to spend on a Legacy deck, and
still stay vigilant on the search for a way to be competitive, you're s#@%
out of luck.
Just kidding!
I think.
To my fellow non-owners of a playset of duals, the
budget guys, and essentially the proletariat, I offer this invitation to
the Red Army. What flavor suits your tastes? I cannot offer an answer. Be
it Sligh, Burn, Goblins—WHATEVER—put some Mountains in a stack of sleeves,
and revolt!
I said I can not offer an answer, but may I make a
suggestion?
The idea is to play Blood Moon. Duh. If Blood Moon
resolves against Landstill, ATS, Psychatog, Affinity, or any other deck
that ventures off the basic land path, you pretty much win right there. If
you run this deck in a heavily blue metagame like myself, make sure you
have the blast backup.
The next (but just as relevant) idea is to resolve Ankh.
Ankh should provide 4-6 damage for you every game. Zo-Zus, obviously, are
extra Ankhs. You want these to resolve almost as much as Blood Moon,
unless you're playing another Red.dec
