Description of deck by it's author
(quoted):
This
deck uses verdant succession and nantuko tracer, forming an infinite
loop with altar of dementia to deck them. The alternative is to use the Phyrexian
altar and ambassador to deck them in the same way. The Skyship Weatherlight
is a tutor. The rectors are like having extra successions that I can
tutor for, which is great in this deck. The mana accelerators can help
me go off a turn or two early. The cabal therapy helps force through the
combo, which is necessary as I don't run any counters - also they have
awesome synergy with the rectors. The cycling lands help me draw into
the combo or a therapy if needed. I run 4 Phyrexian altars to give me
better odds of going off on turn 3. This deck can go off on turn
three: Turn 1: Land, Birds -- Turn
2: Land, Phyrexian Altar -- Turn 3: Land,
Rector, sac rector and search for succession, sac birds, play tracer and
you win (with either Skyship Weatherlight or ambassador in hand).
COMMENTS:
Interesting. Nice deck and its good
to see a few decks used the Infinity combos like the Nantuko Tracer and
Verdant Succession. You lost a few points only for an submitting a
deck that is very very similar to another deck using the same combo
(minus a few cards to fit in Altar and Laquatus). But overall, I
really like this deck. Thank you for your submission.
