Alright...here is the combo. Play Douse, Slight it to whatever color
your opponent is playing, and play Arcane Laboratory. Use this to
counter the one spell (thanks to the Laboratory) your opponent plays.
Since you can only play one spell per turn, you'll have a lot of excess
mana, hence the Chimeric Staffs can become very powerful. Although the
Metrognome is rather expensive, it works well with the Laboratory
because when you use it, you create a creature and not use your one
spell on your turn. The Chills are great sideboard cards because you can
use the Slights on them too.
