Description of deck by it's author
(quoted):
I love how with the Snakes, especially the
Legendary ones, they tried to squeeze in as many instances of "S" as
possible. Shisato, Seshiro, Sosuke, Sachi, all of 'em are pretty sweet.
Orochi is conspicuously missing an S, but I think that's the Japanese
word for Snake, so that makes sense. Then we've got the tribes of Matsu
and Sakura, which don't pronounce the S that much, but still sound
distinctly Japanese, so all beans are cool there.
One more thing: we've got the son Sosuke, the daughter
Sachi, and father Seshiro. Couldn't they have made Shisato a crazy uncle
or something? That would've been awesomeness. "Shisato, Crazy-Uncle of
Seshiro. During your upkeep, if you control Seshiro, Shisato randomly
gives him a present. 'Cause that's what crazy uncles are for." T3ch. And
Shidako could've been the grandmother too. "Shidako, Broodmistress. T:
Yell at Shisato and Seshiro for being bad little boys. Tell random story
about her Navy days. Yes, her Navy days." Best ever.
Yeah, back to real game play. Most of the stuff is
pretty self-explanatory, figuring in the Snake theme. Budoka Gardener is
there for awesomeness, but you can switch it for whatever you want to
customize your build with. (See? I'm basically giving you open spots in
the deck so that you can add in your own choices. What a nice DOG I am.
Mad-Libs still rule.) Time of Need is a trademark of mine, and it helps
with the 4 Legends in the deck (if I can justify putting it in with only 2
Legends, four should be OK.) And Steely Resolve is there for some pretty
nice protection. Oh, and for Horobi/Sharpshooter decks. Yeah. |
