Description of deck by it's author
(quoted):
Broodhatch
Nantuko and Contamination are a good combo. Pestilence, of course,
helps this. With Spidersilk armor, I can Pestilence for two and
get two insect tokens. I use one of these tokens to fuel the
contamination card. Contamination seriously shuts down most
non-black decks... as they will not be able to access their colored mana
pool without other cards like the Ramos's Eye or Mind Stone or Fertile Ground. Support
cards include other Nantuko (Elder for mana) and two Tutors to get cards
like Trailblazer (make one creature unblockable) or Cabal Coffers when I
want to attack a somewhat clear board with the Nantuko Shade.
Really... all of the cards work well together. Then there are the
Regrowth and Restock cards to get a dead Blightcutter or Pestilence back
after it has been disenchanted.
Did I mention you can use the shrine to
your advantage with Nantuko Blightcutter. Darkest Hour turns all
creatures black. Thus your opponent is forced to feed the
Blightcutter (who has protection from black) with each creature he
has. The Blightcutter could be 10/10 and totally
unblockable. I think I like this deck that I just put
together. Tell me what you think!
