 Rasputin's
Maiden.
Description of deck by it's author
(quoted):
In an attempt to make a deck main decking several Rasputin's I
thought of using his ability to produce mana for prosperity. With
the restricted Black Vise, it runner up is Iron Maiden. It is
slightly expensive but not so bad. With astral slide and a variety
of cycling cards, you can get reusing the Dreamweaver's ability.
Show and Tell allows you to get Rasputin or Celestial Convergence out
early. Hypochondria allows you to use your large card-hand count
to your advantage and prevent lots of damage. This deck needs some
tweaking but this was a quick attempt to fir Rasputin in a deck and have
him be one of the main cards. Confessor is there to take advantage
of all the discarding going on.
I tried adding several win conditions
to the deck including Celestial Convergence. There is one Dominate
in there to take one of your opponent's good creatures and you it to
their disadvantage. Wrath of God is a nice combination with Astral
Slide as you can cycle a few cards (one of the many cycling lands) to
temporarily flicker them and then wrath the board. At the end of
your turn they float back into play free of the wrath. Prosperity
and Iron Maiden are the main cards in the deck. Rasputin assists
in getting more cards in all players hands with Prosperity and thus the
opponent will take more damage from the Iron Maiden.
