Description of deck by it's author (quoted):
The concept of this deck is simple.  Aluren, Aluren, Aluren.  Get out your Wall of Roots and Blossoms early, then cast a Man O' War... and then your Aluren.  Cast the Cavern Harpy and go to town.  Keep drawing card upon card and lay down card upon card and eventually attack with a hoard of creatures.

Land grant gets your bayou and underground sea cards out early.  Brainstorm allows you to find the Aluren faster.  Whirlpool Rider is a hand reset button.  Vampiric Tutor gives you the chance to find a key card in your Aluren Combo.  The rest is simple and obvious.

Raisin bran was a popular deck in the Extended format as it still could be today... although I think some of the cards have phased out.  Casual play is fine for me!
