 Planar
Chaos.
Description of deck by its author (quoted):
The whole point of this deck is to abuse the powers of the Planar
Chaos in your favor. Let's start by adding Krark's Thumb so you
get twice the chance to play all of your spells. Note: Planar
Chaos makes you flip a coin whenever you play a spell (for all
players)... if you lose the flip, the spell is countered.
What other better way to abuse Planar Chaos that to
prevent it from being able to counter your spells. There are now
quite a few spells that can't be countered like Root Sliver, Urza's Rage,
Blurred Mongoose, Vexing Beetle, Kavu Chameleon and Scragnoth.
That's a decent creature and burn base for a casual combo deck like this.
Multani's Presence is there so that you can draw a card
if something does get countered by Planar Chaos. Holistic Wisdom is
a pecular card choice by Dick Marco but I can kinda of see where it's
coming from. If you lose one of your enchantments or sorceris or
even un-counterable creatures... you can trade off a card in your hand for
that card.
Slice and Dice and Pyroclasm are additional burn spells.
Note: If you cycle the Slice and Dice and deal one damage to each
creature... it can't be countered.
Thanks, Dick, for the deck submission. This deck gives
everyone a great example of how a deck of this type can be put together.
